Uri Rosenberg's primary areas of research are Jewish-Arab relations in Israel and Palestine, as well as the Turkish-Islamic discourse about Jews and Israel. He studied at Ben Gurion University and Tel Aviv University in Israel and at the University of Chicago in the USA. At the University of Potsdam, he was a postdoctoral researcher focusing on the Milli Görüş movement in Germany during the 1970s, and he continues to work on Jewish-Muslim relations in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani national identity.
