Daniel Weinmann (Doctoral Research Fellow) - September 2026

From 23–25 September 2026, the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia hosted the workshop “Conceptual Exchange on 'The Aggressor' and Related Terms” by the Aggressor Project. Our Doctoral Researcher Daniel Weinmann participated with a presentation on “AggrEnemies? The Aggressor-Enemy Nexus in Russian Propaganda about Ukraine.” Besides a fruitful scholarly discussion, the workshop offered a platform to discuss terminology and semantic meanings of research categories such as "enemy" or "aggressor" – helping him sharpen the working definitions he uses in his own dissertation project.
